During the Mississippian Period of Native American habitation in Tennessee, the Cumberland River Valley became the site of a cluster of fortified towns. One such town is now known as Sellars Farm, inhabited from 1000 AD to 1300 AD.At Sellars Farm, a walking tour of the site takes you through the area while learning about the inhabitants. An interpretive kiosk marks the beginning of the tour.
